On a Vigo-generation Hilux the front control arms are the first suspension parts to meet the terrain: they hang directly behind the front wheels, catching thrown stones, kerbing rocks and the rut walls the truck straddles on worn lanes. This Almont two-piece kit shields both arms in 6 mm laser-cut EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin - 5 kg in total - so years of small strikes stop chewing at the wishbones and their bush mounts on a truck that has plenty of working life left.

The slow damage: stone impacts and scrapes that dent arm pressings, chew bush edges and eventually cost you alignment and parts. The plates take that abuse and shrug it off as surface marks.
Raised non-original suspension is accepted across the Almont range, provided the arms and links themselves are unmodified.
