Give your Hilux's original fuel tank more protection on rough tracks with this Almont 6 mm duralumin guard. It is made for the Revo application from 2016, adding a substantial barrier beneath a truck that works hard and gets you away at weekends.

The certified AW5083 H111 guard protects the fuel tank separately from the AdBlue system. It is a practical addition for muddy access roads and rocky tracks, with high-strength alloy that will not develop red rust where the plate is scratched.
The material is a large part of what makes Almont protection worth considering. Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin combines high strength with less material weight than steel of the same size and thickness. A scrape will not start red rust in the alloy plate, helping it stay a worthwhile long-term addition to your vehicle. Mud and road salt should still be washed off, including from the separate steel brackets and fixings.

Add the separate Revo front guard for protection farther forward. For a Hilux Revo GR Sport with its rear stabiliser bar, the rear differential guard protects the differential and requires TIG spot-welding of the mounting support to it.
Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.

The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
Almont provides three years of cover against cracking of the plate. Dents, deformation and damage to the vehicle are excluded.
