Your Grand Cherokee still has plenty of places to take you. This Almont guard helps protect its original fuel tank, with 6 mm certified duralumin beneath the tank on the listed 2005-2010 WK1 / WH application. It gives you more reassurance when the trip includes rocky lanes and uneven ground.

This 13 kg SportDuty plate adds a substantial barrier beneath the original fuel tank. It is a useful addition to a Jeep you want to keep taking away, especially when the route includes rocky lanes and rough crossings.
The material is a large part of what makes Almont protection worth considering. Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin combines high strength with less material weight than steel of the same size and thickness. A scrape will not start red rust in the alloy plate, helping it stay a worthwhile long-term addition to your vehicle. Mud and road salt should still be washed off, including from the separate steel brackets and fixings.

Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.

The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
Almont provides three years of cover against cracking of the plate. Dents, deformation and damage to the vehicle are excluded.
