This 8 mm Almont front guard protects the engine, steering, cooling system and front driveline on the WK1 and WH, giving you a substantial duralumin barrier beneath the front of your Jeep.

The cooling, steering and driveline components all have jobs you want them to keep doing on the way home. This HeavyDuty guard protects those areas together. It weighs 15 kg and is shaped for the original front bumper, making it a useful addition to a Grand Cherokee used for lanes, towing access roads and longer trips away.
This is certified AW5083 H111 duralumin: a high-strength aluminium alloy that keeps material weight below steel of the same size and thickness. You get a substantial barrier beneath the vehicle, and a scratch in the plate does not turn into red rust. It is still worth keeping the alloy and the separate steel mounting hardware clean, especially after winter salt or muddy trips.

Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.
No. This original-bumper WK1 / WH guard covers the engine range for the listed 2005-2010 application.
This version is shaped for the original bumper. A different bumper needs the correct matching guard.
The protection plate, matching steel mounting supports, pre-installed fixings, certificate and instruction manual, and Almont sticker. Other guards linked on this page are separate purchases.
The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
Almont provides three years of cover against cracking of the plate. Dents, deformation and damage to the vehicle are excluded.
