When a D23 grounds on a crest, the gearbox and transfer case are what touch down, and neither fails cheaply. This Almont gearbox and transfer skid plate for the Nissan Navara D23 series 2018 on covers manual and automatic trucks with 11.5 kg of certified EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin in 6 mm SportDuty grade. Rocks, ruts and dragged debris meet laser-cut plate bolted to the original chassis holes, and the drivetrain above stays out of it.
Almont splits its D23 gearbox plates by series, and this is the version for the facelifted 2018-on truck. Steel mounting brackets, pre-installed bolts and impact-absorbing mounts come in the box, with ordinary hand tools covering the fitting. Prefer the thicker plate, or running a Mercedes X-Class? The 8 mm HeavyDuty version covers both, and the D23 fuel tank plate continues the cover rearwards.

Probably not: this plate suits the 2018-on series, and Almont makes a separate version for 2015-2017 trucks, linked above. If the year sits on the boundary, send us the registration and we will confirm.
Almont recommends 8 mm for heavier vehicles and hard overland ground; the HeavyDuty D23 plate weighs 13 kg and also covers the Mercedes X-Class.
