A small change of direction at the fitting can keep a braided hose from being forced into a sharp bend. The ARB 0740109 elbow provides that 45-degree turn at a matching JIC-4 connection, with two fittings in the pack.

The male and female ends use the JIC-4 37-degree flare arrangement. Nickel-plated brass supports corrosion resistance, and the hex takes a 14 mm spanner. The flare forms the seal, so follow the tightening instructions rather than adding sealant to the JIC threads.
If a tighter turn is needed, our 0740104 90-degree elbow pair is the alternative. The hose route and fitting clearances decide which is suitable.
