Hoonies Garage, Part 1: building a better way to shop around your actual setup

Ford Ranger Raptor performance parts at Hoonies Adrenaline

Part 1 of the Hoonies Garage build.

Let us be honest: two vehicles with the same badge can be miles apart. One Ranger Raptor might be a stock daily driver. Another might already have tuning, exhaust work, suspension, lighting, recovery gear and a full weekend setup in the back. Treating those two builds the same is where generic parts shopping starts to fall apart.

Hoonies Garage is being built around that real-world problem. The idea is simple: save what you drive, what is already fitted, and what you want the vehicle to do next. From there, the site can become more useful, the product notes can become sharper, and the advice you get from us can start with proper context.

Why we think customers will love it

A good Garage should make the next upgrade easier to work out. It should help you avoid irrelevant product drops, find supporting parts before they become a headache, and keep track of where your build is heading.

If you are tuning, it can help frame the hardware and calibration route. If you are building for trail, camp or touring, it can help surface the practical gear that fits the way you actually use the vehicle.

The goal is better context before buying, tuning or asking for fitment advice.

What it should enable

The first version starts quietly. You can tell us the broad lane you are in, the vehicle family you care about, and the kind of updates that would be useful. As the feature grows, the aim is to let you save a proper build profile, record current mods, add planned upgrades, and use that Garage to get cleaner fitment help before you order.

We are not trying to turn this into another annoying popup. The point is fewer, better prompts in places where the context makes sense: product pages, build articles and support conversations. If it does not help you make a better decision, it does not belong in the Garage.

Follow the build with us

We will keep developing this in public as the site grows. The useful bit for customers is that you can read along, see what is being tested, and help shape what a proper Hoonies Garage should become before it turns into a bigger saved-build feature.

In the meantime, while we are developing this, you can still browse the hardware that started the idea. Check out our range of performance products here and start planning the next useful upgrade.
