More straight-six sound, with a little restraint.
Make more of the S58 soundtrack in your 2019-2021 X3 M. This resonated Milltek downpipe-back system gives the pre-LCI car a fuller exhaust change while retaining more silencing than the non-resonated equivalent. Twin 80 mm pipework, valved rear sections and your choice of tips complete the upgrade. It bypasses the GPFs, is for track use and requires Stage 2 ECU software.

We would choose this over the non-resonated downpipe-back when you want more exhaust character but prefer the additional sound control of the resonated sections. The attraction is hearing more of the straight-six while choosing a more restrained configuration. Resonated describes that silencing; it does not mean the factory filters remain in place.
Polished tips bring a bright metal contrast; black suits a darker rear end. Brushed titanium is more understated, burnt titanium adds colour, and carbon makes the tip construction part of the look. These finishes share the same resonated exhaust layout, so the finish premium buys the detail you see rather than a different sound configuration.

Arrange the required Stage 2 ECU calibration with the installation. The pipework, valved links and tips need to be aligned together. This is for the 2019-2021 pre-LCI X3 M, not an interchangeable X4 M or LCI kit.

Let the exhaust cool before cleaning. Wash road salt and dirt from the tips regularly with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner suitable for their finish. Have any new rattle checked for loose fittings or contact with the bodywork.
