This Milltek range gives the left-hand-drive S4 and specified S5 B9 Sportback a choice of resonated or non-resonated sound and eleven tailpipe combinations. It fits cars without the Sport Differential, with 63.5 mm pipework and valved rear silencers. The choice covers quieter daily use through to a louder note, with round, oval and carbon finishes clearly matched to their part numbers.
For a car used on long journeys, we would start with Resonated. It adds the front silencer and carries E-mark approval in these configurations. Non-resonated removes that silencing for a louder note and has no E-mark approval. The 90 mm and 100 mm round tips, ovals and carbon outlets then let you change the visual emphasis without confusing the sound choice.

Left and right connecting pipes, connecting section, valved rear silencers, mounting brackets, selected trims and fitting kit. Resonated versions include the front silencer. Non-resonated versions include front silencer replacement pipes. The rear silencers reuse the original valve motors.

Left-hand-drive and non-Sport-Differential fitment are essential. The right-hand-drive S4 uses different left-side pipework. Allow approximately 1-1.5 hours for fitting, including removal of the original exhaust. A professional installation gives the pipework, tip alignment and hot clearances the attention they need. The system should be checked again after its first heat cycle.
For a right-hand-drive S4 B9 without Sport Differential, use our RHD S4 resonated system.
Clean the tailpipes regularly once they are cool, so road dirt and deposits do not become a bigger job later. Use care products suited to the chosen finish; metal polish intended for bare stainless is not a general treatment for coated or carbon tips.

We would choose Resonated when motorway trips and everyday use matter. The additional silencer reduces selected sound frequencies, giving you the more restrained option. Non-resonated is the louder choice.
No. This range is for left-hand-drive cars without the Sport Differential. The right-hand-drive S4 uses different left-side connecting pipework.
No remap is required for this cat-back change with the rest of the exhaust in its standard configuration. Different requirements can apply if you also change downpipes or catalysts.
The silencer and pipe configuration determine the sound. Pick the finish for the look you want: changing the decorative tips within the same system layout is an appearance choice.
Milltek covers parts containing valves for 2 years or 80,000 km and electronic products for 2 years. Other qualifying parts in this system have lifetime cover. Cover is for the original purchaser and excludes fitting labour and failures caused by misuse or unauthorised modification. Keep your invoice and contact us if you need help with a claim.
