Summary
Stage 2 sits at the top of Nostrum's Gen V LT injector ladder: eight direct injectors flowing 51% more than a stock LT4 injector and 71% more than the LT1 and L86 unit, using an industry-first 8-hole spray pattern developed to keep combustion quality intact at that flow. It suits an LT build that has used up Stage 1, or one specified from the start around a big turbo, blower or nitrous package on E85. Each injector is serialised and production tested for leak, static and dynamic flow and opening pressure, then batched into a set to within plus or minus 3%.
Best For
An LT build already pegged at Stage 1 duty cycle high in the rev range.
Big turbo, large blower or heavy nitrous cars needing fuel headroom designed in from day one.
Owners doing the whole job through direct injection rather than adding port injection and a controller.
Race cars needing eight injectors matched tightly enough to trust cylinder to cylinder.
When Stage 1 Is Not Enough Injector
The difference between the stages is headroom, not character. Stage 1 lifts a stock LT4 by a quarter; Stage 2 lifts it by half, and Nostrum quotes the fuel system as able to support 1400 whp on gasoline or around 1000 whp on E85 once air handling, rotating assembly and calibration are up to it. The rail pressure target here is 200 bar rather than Stage 1's 220 bar: a bigger injector run slightly softer.
Eight Holes And Why The Spray Pattern Matters
A bigger injector is not automatically a better one. Poor atomisation at high flow shows up as rough idle, knock sensitivity, soot and fuel washing the bores, which dilutes the oil. The 8-hole pattern keeps the charge homogeneous at Stage 2 flow while staying controllable by the factory engine management, which is why the set stays tunable on HP Tuners.

Fitment And Setup Checks
A calibration is required; Nostrum recommends HP Tuners. The check that matters is injector stem size: this set is for the 7.5mm LT1 and LT4 style bore, and Nostrum asks 2020-2021 C8 Corvette and 2021-onward Silverado, Sierra, Tahoe, Suburban and Escalade owners to confirm their engine is not already on 6mm stem injectors. The quoted whp figures are fuel-system capacity for a fully supported build. If your car is nowhere near them, Stage 1 is the better spend; other LT parts sit in the Chevrolet collection.

Questions before you order
Frequently asked questions
Is the C8 Corvette really covered?
Yes, for 2020-2021 cars confirmed not to be running 6mm stem injectors. LT2 engines on the 6mm stem need a different injector.
How closely matched is a set?
Sets are batched to within plus or minus 3%. That tolerance is what lets a tuner run tighter targets without chasing one cylinder.
Can I go straight to Stage 2 from stock?
You can, and it makes sense if the build is already specified for serious power. On a milder car it is headroom you are not using, so check your logs with your tuner first.
