Choose catalyst capacity for the engine you are building
If your build needs the higher-output GREEN specification, the GE-90150 combines a 300 CPSI substrate with a larger 4-1/2" outside-diameter body. It supports forced induction and is rated for up to 500 hp per converter or 1000 hp per pair. That makes capacity, pipe fit and available space the important choices before fabrication.

A different substrate and larger body
H.O. GREEN uses 300 cells per square inch, compared with the 400 CPSI substrate of standard GREEN. The 4-1/2" OD body is 4" long, with 7" overall length, and both connections have a 3" inside diameter. Allow for that larger body when checking clearance.
Understand the rating
The rating is up to 500 hp per converter or 1000 hp per pair. It is an application capacity figure, not horsepower added by the exhaust. Match the capacity to the completed engine and use the correct number and arrangement of converters for the system.
Emissions treatment with the system correctly set up
The high-flow catalyst treats exhaust emissions and is certified to U.S. EPA standards. That U.S. certification does not establish UK-specific approval. Elimination of a check-engine light is not guaranteed, so the sensor and calibration arrangement still matter.

No. It is the rating per pair. One converter is rated for up to 500 hp.
Does H.O. GREEN have the same body as standard GREEN?
This H.O. version has a 4-1/2" outside-diameter body and 300 CPSI substrate. Standard GREEN has a 4" OD body and 400 CPSI substrate.
How does ULTRA-GREEN differ from H.O. GREEN?
ULTRA-GREEN uses a 400 CPSI substrate and additional precious-metal content in the same listed 4-1/2" OD body size. H.O. GREEN uses a 300 CPSI substrate and its own higher-output application rating.
