A modified engine needs catalysts chosen for the power and the pipework, not just the badge. The Kooks GE-90146 ULTRA-GREEN converter combines a 400 CPSI substrate with a 4-1/2" outside-diameter body and 3" inside-diameter connections. It supports forced induction and is rated for 425 hp per converter, or 850 hp per pair.

Choose by capacity and fitting space
The power figure describes the catalyst application capacity, not a gain from fitting it. Its 4" body length and 7" overall length give your fabricator a defined footprint. Check both the pipe joints and the 4-1/2" OD body clearance when placing it in the exhaust.
High-flow substrate with emissions treatment
The 400 CPSI substrate is designed to treat exhaust emissions while allowing a high-flow exhaust arrangement. CPSI means cells per square inch. ULTRA-GREEN uses the larger body and additional precious-metal content of that catalyst design.
Match the finished system
This converter is certified to U.S. EPA standards. That identifies the certification standard; it is not a UK-specific approval claim. A converter does not guarantee that a check-engine light will be eliminated, so the engine, sensor arrangement and calibration still need to suit the exhaust.
