Protect the plug leads near your headers
Headers can bring hot exhaust tubing close to the spark-plug boots. The Kooks 750201 sleeves add a double-wall glass-fibre barrier around that area, with eight sleeves in the pack for a V8 wire installation. The natural-colour finish and red Kooks logo keep the parts easy to identify in the engine bay.

Check the boot size and retain clearance
Each sleeve has a 1-1/4" inside diameter at both ends. Match that opening to the actual plug boots before fitting. Keep physical clearance between the wiring and the headers; the sleeve is added heat protection, not a reason to leave a lead resting on the exhaust.
Understand the heat rating
The sleeves are rated to withstand up to 1200°F direct heat. That is the stated exposure condition, not a temperature rating for every other part of the wire or ignition system.
