Two mounting patterns in one plate
The 3/8-inch-thick mild-steel plates have countersunk holes for mounting to the stock head and threaded holes for the diagonal-pattern header. Match the port opening and bolt pattern to the actual heads and headers before fitting.
Allow for the plate thickness
The adapter plate sits between the head and header. Your installer should account for that 3/8-inch thickness when checking header position and nearby chassis clearance.
