Upgrade your GM V8 with headers and connections matched together

Give your supported 2009-2013 GM truck or SUV a Kooks front exhaust conversion with 1-7/8" long tube headers and a Performance-catted Y-pipe. The 304 stainless package joins the 2-3/4" OEM rear interface for the listed 4.8- and 5.3-litre applications.

Keep the rear system that suits your truck

The headers have 3" collectors feeding the supplied 3" Y-pipe. Its 2-3/4" rear outlet makes the connection to an exhaust using the factory interface, so the front upgrade can work with a retained cat-back.

Choose the primary around your engine

This is the 1-7/8" package. The separate 2855H220 kit uses 1-3/4" headers. Choose around your engine modifications rather than assuming the larger primary is always the better choice. Performance cats are for naturally aspirated engines.

Fitting your exhaust

Some installations with 90-degree spark-plug boots need the wires modified as shown in the fitting guide, or replaced with suitable aftermarket wires.
