Finish your Mustang exhaust with the right connection
The right adapter lets your Kooks header and front-pipe setup join the rear exhaust you want to keep or build. These stainless adapters offer the OEM reduction connection or a full 3" connection for aftermarket pipework, with single and pair quantities so you can buy what the installation actually needs.

Keep the factory rear exhaust
The OEM adapter reduces the 3" Kooks front connection to the 2-1/4" factory rear interface. Choose it when you want to retain the compatible original rear exhaust after fitting Kooks long tube headers and front connections.
Connect to a 3" aftermarket exhaust
The full 3" versions extend either 4" or 7" past the OEM connection point. That extra reach gives the installer pipework to join a matching aftermarket exhaust and may need trimming to suit the final arrangement. These are extension choices, not reductions to the factory 2-1/4" exhaust.
Single or pair
A dual exhaust needs an adapter on each side. Choose one pair to supply both sides, or choose a single adapter when replacing one side. Clamps are not included.

Choose the 3" to 2-1/4" OEM adapter. The full 3" adapters are for matching aftermarket pipework.
What do the 4" and 7" choices measure?
They describe how far the adapter extends past the OEM connection point, not the total length of your exhaust.
How many do I need?
For both sides of a dual exhaust, order one pair or two single adapters. One single is useful for replacing just one side.
Are the clamps included?
No. Add the clamps appropriate to the finished joints.
