Choose the header size for your Cobra build
Give your four-valve Mustang a long tube header upgrade with the size and fittings your build needs. This Kooks range offers 1-5/8", 1-3/4" and 1-7/8" primaries. The smaller option uses a 2-1/2" collector; the two larger choices have 3" collectors.

Choose the fittings as well as the size
11222000 includes an EGR fitting. The larger 11222200 and 11222400 do not include EGR, and may require a Flaming River or another aftermarket steering shaft. None of these options includes the SMOG connections for 1996-1998 cars.
Match the X-pipe to the collector
The stainless headers include installation hardware, 3/8" laser-cut flanges and oval ports with the stock bolt pattern. Choose a Kooks X-pipe with the matching 2-1/2" or 3" inlet to finish the installation.

Matching products
For a 1999-2004 Cobra using the 3-inch-collector headers, the New Edge OEM-outlet X-pipe joins the 2-1/2-inch OEM rear exhaust. This link is for the later New Edge subset, not every 1996-1998 car.
