The G.O.A.T Offroad 2017+ RG Colorado HD Clevis Steering Upgrade replaces the standard rack-end and outer-link arrangement with a complete two-sided clevis system. It combines 17-4 stainless clevises and misalignments with hard-anodised 7075 aluminium arms, 7/8-inch heim joints and universal rack boots. This product uses a 16 mm rack thread with 1.5 mm pitch and offers five arm colours.
The pair replaces rack-end and rod-end components, then protects the inner area with new boots. Compared with HD outer tie-rod ends, the clevis layout changes the complete steering link and therefore needs more detailed geometry and clearance planning.
Before ordering, confirm the vehicle, year, body style, engine or chassis details match the listing.
Verify the 16 mm rack thread and 1.5 mm pitch, wheel-barrel clearance, rack travel, boot position, knuckle taper and suspension movement. Record starting lengths and complete an alignment after assembly.
Inspect the heim joints, tapered spacers, clevises, boots and jam nuts together. Play or impact damage in one component can affect toe control even when the anodised arm appears undamaged.
