214,900 rpm
More airflow for a more powerful track Raptor.
If the original turbos are the next limit in your dedicated track build, Garrett PowerMax gives you a complete replacement pair to develop around. Left- and right-hand turbo assemblies arrive with calibrated electric actuators, ready for the next stage of the engine project.
The 41 mm compressor inducer replaces the 38 mm OEM reference. Garrett publishes up to 640 BHP / 477 kW potential with a suitable complete build and engine calibration.
Garrett restricts this kit to dedicated racing vehicles that will never be driven on public roads or highways.

A complete pair from the original turbo supplier
Garrett supplies the original turbochargers for this application. PowerMax builds on that application knowledge with complete replacement assemblies rather than loose wheels or bare cores.
Compressor flow is 18% above OEM and turbine flow is 6% above OEM. The compressor handles intake air; the exhaust-driven turbine turns it. The increase gives a supporting track build more airflow to work with on both sides of the turbo.
What is included?
Complete left-hand and right-hand PowerMax turbochargers
Calibrated electric actuators
Professional installation, fitting consumables and supporting engine ECU calibration are separate. Actuator calibration does not replace the engine tune.
Build for the way you use the power
A track engine needs the right delivery through the rev range as well as peak output. Set the target with your tuner around the fuel, injectors, high-pressure pump, tank-side supply and engine specification. Existing parts can stay where they meet the new demand.
Charge-air cooling belongs in the same plan: compressing air heats it, and the intercooler removes heat before it reaches the engine. Match the cooling system and exhaust to the intended track use so the added airflow has the supporting hardware to work with.
Garrett’s 640 BHP figure is potential total output with supporting hardware and calibration. It is not an additional 640 BHP or a guaranteed result from the turbo swap.
Monitoring and operating limits
Machined sensor ports allow turbo-speed monitoring. Compatible sensor options are G-Smart 923586-0003 and 781328-0003 / 781328-0004; sensors and logging or display equipment are separate.
The maximum allowable turbo speed is 214,900 rpm. Monitoring helps the tuner see how the turbos are operating within their limits. The stainless turbine housing has a temperature rating up to 950°C.
Plan the fitting as part of the upgrade
The application guide covers coolant-system work and inspection of oil-feed and return seals, the oil-feed filter and turbo gaskets. These are useful items for the installer to assess when pricing the work, alongside the charge pipes, clamps and couplers. Use the full Garrett manual for the fitting procedure.
Turbo blankets are optional and separate; match them to these PowerMax housings. Arrange fitting and calibration around the current pre-order delivery estimate so the complete track setup is ready together.

Questions before you order
Frequently asked questions
Is the price for both turbos?
Yes. You receive complete left- and right-hand turbochargers with calibrated electric actuators.
Can I keep the standard engine tune?
No. Supporting custom ECU calibration is required for the new turbo hardware.
Will my Raptor make 640 BHP?
Garrett publishes that as potential total output with an appropriate complete build. The engine, fuel system, cooling, exhaust, fuel and calibration determine the result.
Are speed sensors and turbo blankets included?
No. Both are separate options. The sensors need compatible monitoring equipment, and blankets need to match the PowerMax housings.
Can I use this kit on the road between track days?
No. Garrett restricts it to racing vehicles that will never be driven on public roads or highways.
Can you help with the supporting hardware?
Yes. We can compare the fuel, cooling and intake parts already fitted with your tuner’s requirements for the finished track build. Additional components and services are separate.
Fitment first
Check fit before you order
Model year, engine, drivetrain, hardware and existing modifications can all change what fits. Check the applications and supplier notes above, or send us your exact vehicle and setup before ordering.
