Make the most of that 5.0 V8 soundtrack.
This active-valved Milltek cat-back gives the Mustang Dark Horse and Mach 1 a complete 70 mm exhaust upgrade with a choice of X-pipe or H-pipe construction. Both use the dedicated rear silencers and valved outlet pipes with actuators. Four 115 mm tailpipe finishes make the visual change every bit as deliberate as the hardware choice.
Both layouts connect the two exhaust banks, but do it differently: the X-pipe merges them through a crossing section, while the H-pipe links the parallel pipes with a crossover. The rest of the listed system is shared.

This kit is for the Dark Horse and Mach 1 Fastback applications above. Allow approximately 1-2 hours for fitting including original-system removal. A professional installation gives the pipework, tip alignment and hot clearances the attention they need. The system should be checked again after its first heat cycle.
Clean the tailpipes regularly once they are cool, so road dirt and deposits do not become a bigger job later. Use a cleaning product suitable for your chosen tailpipe finish.

The X-pipe merges the two exhaust banks through a crossing section. The H-pipe links the parallel pipes with a cross tube. Both options here use the same rear silencers, valved outlets and 70 mm main pipework. The change is the crossover design; the tip finish is a separate choice.
No remap is required for this cat-back change with the rest of the exhaust in its standard configuration. Different requirements can apply if you also change downpipes or catalysts.
The silencer and pipe configuration determine the sound. Pick the finish for the look you want: changing the decorative tips within the same system layout is an appearance choice.
Milltek covers parts containing valves for 2 years or 80,000 km and electronic products for 2 years. Other qualifying parts in this system have lifetime cover. Cover is for the original purchaser and excludes fitting labour and failures caused by misuse or unauthorised modification. Keep your invoice and contact us if you need help with a claim.
