This twin 80 mm Milltek system offers resonated and non-resonated sound choices, active valve control and a range of tip finishes. It retains the factory filters on the compatible OPF-equipped cars. A brief burst of acceleration is only one part of owning an S8. If you value conversation and a relaxed cabin on longer journeys, the resonated version is the more restrained starting point because it keeps additional front silencers. Non-resonated replaces them with pipework for a more vocal result. The exact car matters too: this range covers the listed OPF applications and standard-wheelbase non-OPF US/ROW cars, rather than the separate non-OPF long-wheelbase system.
Polished tips give a bright, classic metal finish. Cerakote black blends into darker exterior trim, while brushed titanium has a softer, more understated metal appearance. Burnt titanium adds colour; carbon gives the rear a more distinctive texture. Choose the look you enjoy alongside your preferred resonated or non-resonated sound.
Lower connections, the selected front sections, active centre, connecting pipes, rear silencers, valved outlets, four selected tips and fitting hardware. The long-wheelbase non-OPF car needs the separate LWB package.
Match the wheelbase and original emissions equipment before fitting. The installation estimate is 2.5-3.5 hours from Milltek. The resonated SSXAU943 product carries an S8 E-mark; that approval must not be assumed for the non-resonated configurations or a different vehicle/emissions combination.

No. Approval is configuration-specific. The non-resonated system is not E-marked; the resonated application must match the relevant S8 certificate.
Within the same exhaust configuration, the tip finish changes the appearance. Where the options include different sound configurations or body styles, choose those first, then the finish.
Let the exhaust cool before cleaning. Wash road salt and dirt from the tips regularly with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner suitable for their finish. Have any new rattle checked for loose fittings or contact with the bodywork.
Yes. On the listed OPF-equipped applications, this system starts behind the filters and retains them. Resonated versus non-resonated changes the downstream silencing, not whether the OPFs are kept.
