The 4.0 TFSI gives the S6 and S7 serious performance; a Milltek cat-back makes more of the sound that goes with it. This range covers resonated and non-resonated systems, with separate ValveSonic versions for buyers who want valved rear silencers. Choose the actual silencer layout first, then the polished, black or titanium finish.
Resonated versions add a centre silencer for a more restrained note. Non-resonated versions leave it out for more volume. The ValveSonic options use different, valved rear silencers. The plain resonated polished, black and titanium systems carry E-mark approval; the other configurations do not.

For the C7 4.0 TFSI applications above. Choose the precise configuration from the table, since valve hardware differs. A professional installation gives the pipework, tip alignment and hot clearances the attention they need. The system should be checked again after its first heat cycle.
Clean the tailpipes regularly once they are cool, so road dirt and deposits do not become a bigger job later. Use a cleaning product suitable for your chosen tailpipe finish.

We would choose Resonated when motorway trips and everyday use matter. The additional silencer reduces selected sound frequencies, giving you the more restrained option. Non-resonated is the louder choice.
No remap is required for this cat-back change with the rest of the exhaust in its standard configuration. Different requirements can apply if you also change downpipes or catalysts.
The silencer and pipe configuration determine the sound. Pick the finish for the look you want: changing the decorative tips within the same system layout is an appearance choice.
Milltek covers parts containing valves for 2 years or 80,000 km and electronic products for 2 years. Other qualifying parts in this system have lifetime cover. Cover is for the original purchaser and excludes fitting labour and failures caused by misuse or unauthorised modification. Keep your invoice and contact us if you need help with a claim.
