The Kooks JI-TAS300 is a stainless band clamp for a matched 3" notched slip connection. It wraps the overlapping joint, giving you the correct clamp type when assembling or servicing pipework designed for that connection.

Use it on compatible notched slip joints. A same-diameter butt joint or a ball-and-socket connection needs the appropriate hardware for that design. Align and support the exhaust, tighten to the fitting instructions and check the joint for leaks.

Is it for a butt joint?
It is specified for a notched slip connection. Choose hardware made for a butt joint if the pipe ends do not overlap.
Will it replace a Torca swivel-seal clamp?
Those are different joint types. Use the matched clamp for the actual connection.
