The Kooks MUF-018 combines that layout with a stainless oval body and 3" inside-diameter connections, making the pipe route and available clearance the key choices when planning the installation.

SKU: MUF-018

Plan around the complete footprint

The body is 12" long and measures 5-1/4" by 8-3/8" across the oval. Overall length is 15-3/4", including the necks. Those are different measurements: allow for the full length at the joints as well as the width and depth of the body.

Choose by layout as well as diameter

The inlet is centred and the outlet is offset. Match that arrangement to your pipe route before cutting or fabricating the exhaust. Sound will depend on the complete engine and exhaust combination; the dimensions alone do not establish a noise level.

Technical Specifications

Specification

Details

SKU

MUF-018

Material

Stainless steel

Layout

Oval; centre inlet / offset outlet

Inlet and outlet

3" inside diameter (ID)

Body size

5-1/4" by 8-3/8" oval body

Body length

12" body length

Overall length

15-3/4" overall length

Quantity

One muffler; sold individually

FAQs

What does centre/offset mean?

The inlet is in the middle of its end face and the outlet is offset.
