Choose a catalyst that fits your modified exhaust

The Kooks GE-90147 GREEN converter gives a custom 3" exhaust a high-flow catalyst option that also supports forced induction. Its 400 CPSI substrate sits in a 4" outside-diameter body, with an application rating of 375 hp per converter or 750 hp per pair. Match that capacity and footprint to the engine and exhaust you are building.

SKU: GE-90147

Clear dimensions for the fabricator

Both ends have a 3" inside diameter. The body is 4" long and 4" in outside diameter; overall length is 7". These measurements establish the pipe interface and fitting space, so the converter can be placed with appropriate support and heat clearance.

Capacity rather than a power-gain claim

The 375 hp per-converter and 750 hp per-pair figures describe application capacity. They do not promise an increase in engine output. The GREEN design supports naturally aspirated and forced-induction applications within that rating.

Emissions treatment and system setup

The high-flow 400 CPSI substrate treats exhaust emissions, and the converter is certified to U.S. EPA standards. It does not guarantee elimination of a check-engine light. Match the sensor and calibration arrangement to the completed exhaust.

Technical Specifications

Specification

Details

SKU

GE-90147

Catalyst type

GREEN

Inlet and outlet

3" inside diameter (ID)

Body diameter

4" outside diameter (OD)

Body length

4" body length

Overall length

7" overall length

Substrate

400 CPSI (cells per square inch)

Application capacity

375 hp per converter; 750 hp per pair

Forced induction

Supported within the application rating

Certification standard

U.S. EPA

Warning-light condition

Elimination of a check-engine light is not guaranteed

FAQs

Is the 750 hp rating for one converter?

It is the rating per pair.
