For 2023-on cars, the kit replaces the factory intake with aluminium pipework and a heat-shielded washable nanofiber filter — a keener draw, a sportier note under acceleration, and one of the very few engineered upgrades available for this platform so early in its life.

Best For

Early adopters of the new-shape Astra modifying ahead of the crowd

1.2 turbo daily drivers adding character without touching reliability

Company-car-to-keeper conversions getting their first personal touch

Key Specs

Manufacturer: MST Performance

Product Type: Cold air intake system

SKU: MST-OPL-AS01

Vehicle Application: Opel Astra 1.2, 2023 on

Material: Mandrel-bent 6061 or cast aluminium intake pipework

Air Filter: Nanofiber dry high-flow filter, washable and reusable

Included Items: Pipework, filter, heat shield, mounting hardware and fitting instructions

Fitment type: vehicle-specific, direct OEM replacement

First-Mover Modification

Brand-new platforms usually wait years for decent aftermarket support, which makes this kit unusual: a tested, direct-fit intake for the 2023-on Astra 1.2 while most owners have nothing beyond dealer accessories.
